As I was starting to plan my own wedding, the first thought that came to my mind was how much I wanted a professional video. All these gorgeous videos of weddings popping up on my Facebook feed, were feeding my hunger for one.
When I started looking into it, I was disheartened. The cost was definitely outside my budget. It was expensive but the quality of some of these videos was outstanding and I could see why the cost was so high.
As a lover of video editing, I was trying to think of other options. This is how I came up with Ally Edit. I wanted to give couples with a limited budget the opportunity to remember their day in video format. No one should miss out on remembering such a special days.

Can we send you footage from another device?
Yes. You can send in footage from another device. The reason we choose the Gopro is because of its stability feature and picture quality. This means the picture is not bouncing around but steady and smooth. Checkout the links below to get an idea of of the 4K/5K picture quality of the GoPro
Who will we get to film the day?
This is the best part. You have the freedom to choose. Luckily, with the technology of today being so advanced, its easier than it was in the 80's or 90's to take a decent video. With the youth or today growing up in a world of Instagram and Tik Tok, taking a video with style is a piece of cake for them. The biggest part of all, is the hours and hours of editing and we take care of all of that for you.
Why should we get a video?
There are so many moments and interactions happening during a wedding and you cant be everywhere. Getting a video will show you the bits you missed or may have forgotten and memories to cherish forever.
Why can't I edit my own video?
Of course you can. But what we can offer is a video edited in a professional video editing software that we pay for under a license and annual fee. Plus, its way more fun to watch a professionally edited video for the first time where you haven't seen any of the footage before. (In fact, we suggest the Bridal party and family do not watch any of the footage before returning the video camera, in order for there to be some surprise and something to look forward too. Of course this is totally up to you)
Can we keep all the footage?
Yes. Along with the professionally edited video, we will send you a link with all the videos and photos for you to download. Or you can provide a USB.
We are not based in Cairns. Can we still use your services?
Yes. We can post a video camera via registered mail to the supplied address, with a return postage bag inside. Postage is charged to the customers account.
